The training method the leader adopts will largely determine his teams success or failure. If he adopts a dry, academic approach, the aspiring leaders will remember little of what was communicated. If he simply throws the team into the job without any specific direction, they may feel terrible. An effective training method takes advantage of the way people learn. Researchers made us to understand that we remember 10 percent of what we hear, 50 percent of what we see, 70 percent of what we say, and 90 percent of what we hear, see, say, and do. This therefore demands that we develop an approach to how we will train. Tomorrow we would consider a five step training method that is very effective for equipping teams.
