Principles and power of communication In breaking barriers. By Pst. Kayode Daniel @ Palace of creativity 26th Feb 2017 Effective communication is at the root of most, if not all breakthroughs recorded in scriptures. The quality of the sound you make, would often determine the kind of breakthrough you command. When God said, let there be light, light broke through gross darkness. Genesis 1:1-3 Whatever is too big for your mouth (communication through spoken words) would be too big for your life. Whatever you can not speak to, you cannot defeat. Every visible or invisible barrier would always bow to the authority of the spoken word. Matthew 21:19-22 (BIBLE) 19 Seeing a lone fig tree alongside the road, he approached it anticipating a breakfast of figs. When he got to the tree, there was nothing but fig leaves. He said, "No more figs from this tree--ever! " The fig tree withered on the spot, a dry stick. 20 The disciples saw it happen. They rubbed their eyes, saying, "Did we really see this? A leafy tree one minute, a dry stick the next? " 21 But Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Yes--and if you embrace this kingdom life and don't doubt God, you'll not only do minor feats like I did to the fig tree, but also triumph over huge obstacles. This mountain, for instance, you'll tell, 'Go jump in the lake, ' and it will jump. 22 Absolutely everything, ranging from small to large, as you make it a part of your believing prayer, gets included as you lay hold of God. " In bringing down barriers, the mouth is a vital breakthrough tool. Jeremiah 1:9(MSG) GOD reached out, touched my mouth, and said, "Look! I've just put my words in your mouth--hand-delivered! When God touches your mouth, all you say, you naturally see. With this anointing on you, every barrier gives way at the blast of your tongue. It is the words of your mouth that gives shape to your future. The words you hear and believe today would always determine what features in your tomorrow. How do you power your words to break down barriers? 1. Give Jesus a place in your heart. John 3:3 2. Be baptised in the holy ghost. John 3:5 3. Build up your most holy faith. Jude 20 4. Commit yourself to the study of scriptures. John: 15. 7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 5. Meditate on Gods word. Joshua 1:8 6. Make thanksgiving your native tongue or dialect. Speak his words daily with gratitude in your heaer. Ephesians 5:4(msg) 7. Crave for the anointing or the Spirit of the Lord. Isaiah: 61. 1. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 4. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
