YOU NEED A SUPERNATURAL MIND WASHING PART 3

In order to be able to resist the enemy's attack against your mind and your thought life, you must

get a good "Holy Ghost - word - of God" brain washing daily. Now, the world considers

brainwashing to be a negative thing; to them it means a person's mind is being dominated or

heavily influenced by someone or something else.

But, in the positive sense, you can accomplish all that God has for you and fulfill your destiny

when you allow the word of God to influence your thinking! All you need is a good mind washing by

the word of God. Ephesians 5:25-27

"No you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." John 15:3

Your mind must be washed from whatever deceptive thoughts have been planted there by the enemy to

take you out of your God-ordained prosperous destiny.

prosperity includes spiritual or physical health and well-being. You accomplish this cleansing by

daily rebewing your mind with the anointed word of God (which, as Proverbs 4:22 says, is "life

unto those that find [it], and health to all their flesh") It's the continual hearing of the word

of God that causes the cleansing and renewing of your mind to take place.

"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind." Ephesians 4:33

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye

may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2

YOU NEED A SUPERNATURAL MIND WASHING PART 2

Did you know that the human mind processes around 650,000 thoughts every twenty-four hours, some conscious and some subconscious?

This gives the spiritual principalities and the rulers of darkness of this world-the-enemy-about 650,000 opportunities to explode deceptive missiles of doubt, fear, confusion, frustration, anxiety, worry, and other negative devices in your mental headquarters.

If demons can deceive you into dwelling on these things, they gain a tremendous amount of control over your life.

The corrupt thoughts will negate the supernatural creative power that your mind possesses. Romans 7:21-25

Apostle Paul said that there was war against the mind that was trying to bring him into sin. So we can see very clearly that these angry enemies are desperately trying to deceive our thought patterns in order to destroy our lives.

We are in a war, and the war in our minds. if we're going to win this war, we need to fight it at the right places! We must set up a strong word governed defense system that's prepared for attack twenty-four hours a day. We must do what Peter said in 1 Peter 1:13

"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is
brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

YOU NEED A SPIRITUAL MIND WASHING

So many Spirit-filled believers and Kingdom heirs go through life defeated and never fulfill their destinies because they don't know where the war is in their lives. They don't know where the battle ground is. Many believe that their failures and defeats come from bad luck, bad timing, bad family back ground, and other negative circumstances. In actuality, they don't understand that their failures and defeats in life come as a result of losing the war in the mind. Some don't realize that there even is a war! Make no mistake - there is a war, and you have an enemy. Revelations 12:9-12

The evil one lost his fight in the heavens and got tossed out onto the earth. As a result, he's desperate to destroy the lives of God's highest creation - mankind. However, God sent Jesus to redeem mankind and empower us to defeat the devil! John 10:10, Luke 10:19

Jesus gave us authority over all of Satan's power. So why are we still at war? Satan knows that Jesus came so we could have life and have it more abundantly. Satan, on the other hand, comes to steal, kill and destroy what Jesus has already died for us to have. If he can steal, kill or destroy our concepts of Jesus' finished work in our thought life, then he can steal from, kill and destroy anyone. The only real weapon that Satan can use against believers is deception.

This is because the devil is absolutely powerless. And deception begins in the mind, in the thought patterns of unsuspecting believers.

BENCH-MARKING THE QUALITY AND RELEVANCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

THE MORAL FORCE OF LEADERSHIP

The leaders who have emerged today seem to believe that the primary qualities needed to address our troubled, demanding times are the following: Compelling Vision; academic and intellectual sagacity, dynamic oratory, and other communication skills that have the power to persuade; management expertise; and he ability to control people.

However, time and again, history has shown that the most important quality a true leader should and must possess is the moral force of a noble and stable character. The greatest man that ever walked the face of the earth had this has his backbone.

We have all kinds of skilled people in positions of power, with an ample supply of potential leaders. Yet the leaders who are trying to keep their nations, companies, organizations, and families from sinking are either lacking, or deficient in, that vital element of character.

All across our world, we have seen leaders fall apart, ethically and morally. Many leaders start strong (or appear to) only to end up "crashing and burning".

A number of leaders have operated under a reputation of integrity that was only a facade. While they appeared competent and well-adjusted on the outside, they lacked real substance within.

They were missing the element of moral force, and their ethical poverty eventually became evident.

Those who follow and sang their praises had no idea who these leaders were - until the leaders became enmeshed in scandal due to their reckless conduct, often finding themselves facing legal consequences for unlawful financial practices, theft, extortion, cheating, perjury.....and the like.

Meanwhile, other people in position of power have been hindered by incompetence because they have never learned solid leadership principles and how to implement them.

Others are capable, but they still aren't helping to address the needs of their society because they would rather destroy a corporate competitor or nullify a political opponent than work together with other leaders to address serious problems and find solutions.

CONTEMPORARY LEADERSHIP AND THE CROSS ROAD OF CHARACTER

"Whatever failures I have known, whatever errors I have committed,, whatever follies I have witnessed in public and private life have been the consequences of action without thought." - Bernard Baruch, businessman and advisor to U.S Presidents.

Our messed up world today is a direct product of lack of strong leadership. Every nation on planet earth today is challenged by an absence of resolute leadership as it struggles under precarious times. Politically, economically, and socially, our nations are experiencing turmoil and moral decadence - a product of corruption, religious conflicts, economic uncertainty, unequal distribution of resources, civil unrest, disease, crime rates, famine, sexual abuse, greed, racial clashes, ethnic "cleansing", global terrorism, and senseless wars.

If nothing is done about leadership, our twenty - first century world might seem to be an experiment in global self-destruction.

Our world need the rise of strong leaders who have the courage to grapple wi
th perplexing issues and seemingly overwhelming problems, as well as the ability to discover and implement workable solutions.

Most importantly, what we need like air today are competent, effective, visionary leaders in all walks of life.

THE POWER IN GREETING PEOPLE

This lady worked at a meat distribution factory. One day, when she finished with her work schedule, she went into the meat cold room (Freezer) to inspect something, but in a moment of misfortune, the door closed and she was locked inside with no help in sight. Although she screamed and knocked with all her might, her cries went unheard as no one could hear her. Most of the workers had already gone, and outside the cold room it's impossible to hear what was going on inside.

Five hours later, whilst she was at the verge of death, the security guard of the factory eventually opened the door. She was miraculously saved from dying that day. She later asked the security guard how he had come to open the door, which wasn't his usual work routine.

His explanation: "I've been working in this factory for 35 years, hundreds of workers come in and out every day, but you're one of the few who greets me in the morning and says goodbye to me every night when leaving after work. Many treat me as if I'm invisible. Today, as you reported for work, like all other days, you greeted me in your simple manner 'Hello'. But this evening after working hours, I curiously observed that I had not heard your "Bye, see you tomorrow". Hence, I decided to check around the factory. I look forward to your 'hi' and 'bye' every day because they remind me that I am someone.

By not hearing your farewell today, I knew something had happened. That's why I was searching every where for you and I knew it was God who remembered me of your greetings hmm ma sister God has really saved your life by your deeds.
Lady cried out praising God.

Be imaginative

We all dream. We act out our future in our minds. Our minds invent. They challenge reality. Things that never happened before occur in our dreams. Then we wake up. Judgments are made. Dreams are discarded. Sometimes this is good. Nightmares dissolve in the light of day. Sometimes we lose something precious. Something that we undervalue compared to our fear of failure or ridicule.

Every chapter in this book value dreams. The successful leaders whose success ideals were researched in writing this book create images in their minds – images that have never before been wholly perceived by others.

They use these images like a contractor uses blueprints to build a house. They build. Some would call them resourceful. Others would call them imaginative. They can also be seen as creative. They have the ability to confront and deal with challenges. This ability begins with dreams.

The matter of leadership will be a subject which you will reflect upon throughout your professional career. It is a challenging assignment to express what leadership means in a few words, especially when you have not completed your own conclusions in this regards:

I have tried to reduce this to what I term as the C’s of leadership: Commitment, Creativity, Charisma and character. Let me elaborate:

Commitment. Tenacity, courage, and risk would be terms falling into this category. People do not follow uncommitted leaders. Commitment can be displayed in a full range of matters to include the work hours you choose to maintain, how you work to improve your abilities or what you do for your workers at personal sacrifice.

Creativity. Seeing the future and how to get there in advance of others. Leading must constantly be involved in moving organizations from point A to point B if the organization is to maintain its competitiveness and vibrancy. Leadership minus creativity makes you a manager.

Charisma. Can you laugh? Have fun? Inspire others to enjoy themselves? Get others to follow your direction because they “believe” and not because you’re the “boss”? Are you a “class act”?

Character. What are the most important principles that you live by? Honesty, charity, thoughtfulness, sharing, making a difference. Are you self – examining? How do you react to an unanticipated emergency? As you look back, how have you improved yourself in this regard?

The future that lies ahead for you is filled with countless possibilities. Your challenge is to see them not as specific, structured absolutes, but as untapped possibilities that you, through your unique and special talents, have yet to create. As a leader, to believe in yourself, your dreams and in others is paramount. I know firsthand the power of action inspired by positive belief, learned knowledge and strong values. I offer the following guidelines to you – they have worked for me.

Believe in Possibilities.
Reject Rejection
Never stop learning; then share.
Write down your goals and values each moment of achievements.
Value diversity and strive for balance.

Know that you matter. It is knowing that you matter that will allow you to lead others and truly inspire and make a difference.

Be Honest

The word “honest” has many shades of meaning in the English language. However, it only has one major opposite. To be honest is to be free of deception. When we deceive, we ensnare others with false ideas or beliefs. We trap their minds like animals. We are false to their well – being. We cause them to believe untruths.

Businessmen are often compared to predators and business to the art of war. Competition is a struggle for survival. It is not a fair fight. There are no rules. These comparisons seem apt, but are they true? Are they merely echoes of our beginnings rather than guideposts to our destiny?

This chapter advocates honesty. It rejects deceit. Honesty is what works for a lot of great leaders of repute. What is it about honesty that attracts them? What is it about deceit that repels them?

I have identified three factors which I believe contribute to an individual’s business success. However, I cannot limit my discussion to three factors for I sincerely believe there are five critical elements which make for a successful leader. I strongly believe in these five principles so much that is why I have them documented in this book. Thus, I bring these five to your attention:

Strength of will. I believe that a business leader must possess the courage of his/her convictions. Many people refer to this as ego. I believe it’s that internal drive and perseverance which allows the leader to draw strength from within he or she during the natural life cycle that any business will encounter.

Vision. I believe every great leader must have a clear focus and clear direction coupled with the strength of will. It’s the road map that the leader follows to take him or her and their organization in a sure direction, and to contribute in that direction during periods of prosperity and periods of difficulty.

Judgment. The ability to make sound, high – quality decisions in a timely fashion and on a continuous basis comes from the persons years of experience, what they obtain through life, as well as one’s innate intelligence.

Communication. A leader must get things done through others, therefore the leader must have the ability to inspire and motivate, guide and direct, and listen. It’s only through communication that the leader is able to cause others to internalize his or her vision and implement it.

Values. Many call these business ethics – the underlying principles by which the leader operates. Whatever term is used, values constitute the leader’s belief system. It will be the basis upon which he/she deals with others including clients, employees and other business associates. It is a reflection of one’s character. It is the blueprint and the foundation for how one runs his/her business.
